Raise is currently hiring a SAP C4C Techno-Functional Consultant on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The SAP C4C Techno-Functional Consultant in this role should have a strong blend of technical and functional expertise in SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C), with a focus on tenant replication, eFlow settings, mashup configuration, utilities processes (IS-U), CIC0, and front-office processes. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and implement solutions that enhance customer engagement and streamline business processes in a utilities-focused environment.
Accountabilities

Perform routine operational sustainment activities and system maintenance with limited supervision. Take full ownership of assigned tickets, work requests, and project deliverables, ensuring they are delivered efficiently within budget.

Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate operational pain points and determine the best options for implementing changes to existing business processes.

Identify and present feasible, sustainable solution options that follow industry best practices, prioritizing standard SAP functionality over heavy customization where possible.

Analyze, complete, and sign off on IS-U Account Management, Credit, and Collections-related tickets, ensuring all work strictly adheres to and CCS Team standards.

Support new and ongoing issues or developments by directly resolving configuration hurdles, technical problems, business process errors, usability/personalization snags, and access restrictions.

Document issue resolutions, configuration modifications, and design enhancements clearly. Provide timely status updates to the Team Lead regarding ongoing activities and emerging concerns.

Act as a configuration expert and trusted liaison to the business community. Provide professional guidance, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and coaching to team members regarding SAP IS-U, CCS, and CRM functionality.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of techno-functional experience with SAP C4C, including hands-on configuration, customization, tenant replication, eFlow settings, and mashup configuration.

SAP C4C Development: Proficiency in utilizing the SAP C4C SDK (Software Development Kit) or PDI (Partner Development Infrastructure) for custom development.

SAP IS-U Knowledge: Strong functional and technical understanding of SAP Utilities (IS-U) or CR&B data models, processes, and their direct integration with C4C.

Front Office Configuration: Hands-on experience with CIC0 configuration and front-office process optimization within a high-volume customer service environment.

Middleware & Integration: Familiarity with data integration tools such as SAP CPI, PI/PO, or similar middleware solutions.

Core Legacy SAP Modules: Practical experience working with ECC 6.0/EHP8, SAP CRM, CRM Case Management, CRM IC, CRM ISU Data Replication, and Sales and Distribution (SD).

Utilities Domain Experience: Strong understanding of end-to-end utility processes, specifically:

Financial Accounting (FI-CA) – Contract Accounts Receivables, Payables, and Collections Management.

Customer Service, Meter Reading, Device Management, Rate/Tariff Design, and Billing/Invoicing.

Customer Contacts and BPEM (Business Process Exception Management).

Web self-service functions, telephony/IVR, and digital customer channels.
-
Tools & Problem Solving: Solid grasp of change management procedures and policies using SAP Solution Manager, backed by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly across technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Exposure to next-generation platforms like SAP S/4HANA or other adjacent SAP modules.

Familiarity with industry-specific trends like smart metering infrastructure.

Foundational knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, or other web technologies used to enhance custom mashup developments.

Prior experience working in an IT consulting capacity or navigating complex, cross-functional corporate structures.

Education and Certifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, or Business Administration

Certification in SAP C4C or SAP IS-U.
