Position Overview
Our highly successful and rapidly growing online ecommerce store is in need of support in the form of an E-Commerce Specialist. Based in Toronto, ON (Hybrid), this position will take an active and important role in driving end-to-end growth - engagement, acquisition, and retention - for the company's online store.
The E-Commerce Specialist is a key contributor to all ecommerce-related activities including promotions planning and implementation, new product launches, product performance optimization, merchandising, digital content development, and analytics benchmarking and reporting. To be successful, you will need to be a stickler for detail, a natural problem-solver, and highly motivated.
Major Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day ecommerce content updates and merchandising for the company's online store.

Coordinate and execute on company ecommerce strategies and promotional plans.

Devise and implement strategies to improve the user experience, acquire new online customers, increase conversion, and grow revenue.

Lead the rollout of all new product launches and ecommerce content updates to keep the store fresh, engaging, and effective.

Support and manage the creation and execution of all monthly, seasonal, flash-sale, and special promotion initiatives and merchandising strategies.

Create new and maintain existing web store pages ensuring thoroughness, consistency, and accuracy of information, and adherence to best practices.

Track sales, product performance, and ecommerce KPIs and assist in their analysis to provide recommendations on how to improve sales.

Create promo codes and coupons for promotional efforts and communicate with departmental sales groups to advise of all active offers.

Partner with internal teams to support SEO and paid digital media initiatives.

Manage the product ratings and reviews program, including monitoring performance and recommending optimizations.

Provide strategic recommendations supported by research and ecommerce best practices on new initiatives and store optimizations that will grow revenue in emerging markets and audiences.

Execute ecommerce campaigns to support sales through the company's network of international distributors and resellers in conjunction with the Sales team.
Skills and Qualifications

3+ years' experience in a similar ecommerce role for a global organization.

Degree or diploma in business or marketing-related field.

Keen attention to detail to ensure completely accurate information for hundreds of products.

Familiarity with creating and managing products in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a rapidly growing organization.

Analytical, with strong experience using numbers to deliver insights and action using Excel, Google Analytics, and other tools.

Clear understanding of current and emerging ecommerce best practices.

Proficient communication and copywriting skills.

Strong project management skills with experience using Jira, Confluence, and Slack preferred.

Experience in the fitness, health, or wellness industries is preferred, but not mandatory.

Strong passion for ecommerce, UX, and digital strategy with an equally strong desire to learn, understand, and grow.
