We are seeking a skilled, Full Time Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes in residential settings. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with our team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Restore and maintain the appearance of various surfaces through touch-ups and refinishing.
Rig up scaffolding or ladders as needed to reach high areas safely.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure a smooth finish and protect against moisture.
Read blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools used for painting tasks.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the project.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Proficiency in using power tools related to painting tasks.
Experience in residential painting techniques and best practices.
Ability to perform caulking tasks with precision for optimal results.
Excellent time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
Capability to read blueprints accurately for project execution.
Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
