Hours: : 40 Hours per week. Monday to Friday, Flexible hours, with on call rotation

Status: Full-Time, Permanent (Non-Union)

Salary: $51,067 – $60,977

(Salary Steps: $51,067 | $52,599 | $54,177 | $55,802 | $57,476 | $59,201 | $60,977)

Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination required: Proof of a two-dose vaccine is required prior to orientation.

Our scheduling team ensures that client care commitments are seamlessly aligned with our frontline staff availability. The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in accurately maintaining our scheduling systems, filling roster vacancies efficiently, and serving as a central point of contact for external purchase of service agencies.

Our Service Coordinators provide services and administrative support such as:

Service Coordination: Ensuring that appropriate support services are scheduled in strict accordance with our individual client service agreement commitments.
Schedule Optimization: Proactively managing and filling all vacancies in the service schedule in a timely manner to maintain consistency of care.
Agency Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact and liaison with purchase of service agencies.
System Maintenance: Updating and maintaining the scheduling software and related booking availability data accurately, reflecting the evolving needs of both clients and staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary or equivalent education in a relevant social service, administrative, or business application program.
Previous data entry experience along with a strong working proficiency in computer software, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, is essential.
Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with staff and a diverse client base.
Previous experience working with adults with physical disabilities, ideally within a community setting, is preferred.
Previous experience operating dedicated scheduling software is considered a strong asset.
Legally entitled to work in Canada. (Note: Applicants must declare potential conflicts regarding family members working at the same location or in a direct reporting line as outlined in HR Policy HR-B4-01).
