At Les Fleurs Ma Passion – Las Flores Mi Pasión Boutique, our florists do a little bit of everything. From designing beautiful floral arrangements and helping customers find the perfect gift to making deliveries, caring for fresh flowers, and keeping the boutique looking its best, every day is different.
We're looking for someone who loves flowers, enjoys working with people, has a natural flair for sales, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Whether you already have floral experience or are eager to learn, we're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, and excited to be part of a small, supportive team.
If you're also willing to work in the Shediac area when needed, we'd love to hear from you as well.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and daily sales.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Manage retail sales transactions, including cash handling and operating the POS system.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure attractive displays of floral products.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock.
- Communicate with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Perform maintenance tasks, such as caring for plants and keeping the flowers fresh.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during peak seasons.
- Deliver orders to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional florist experience required.
- Strong floral design skills and a passion for creating beautiful arrangements.
- Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
- Friendly, positive, and comfortable working with the public.
- Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities in a small business environment.
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
