Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. A background in food preparation, hospitality, and the food industry is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure high-quality standards.
Manage staff recruitment, interviewing, training, and supervision to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Handle cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS), and daily financial reporting with accuracy.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen operations to optimize efficiency.
Implement marketing strategies to increase sales and enhance the restaurant’s reputation within the community.
Enforce health and safety policies, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and teamwork to create a positive work environment.
Coordinate with hotel or barista teams if applicable to ensure seamless service across departments.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Leadership qualities including team management, interviewing skills, and conflict resolution.
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus; barista experience is advantageous.

Pay: $6,000.00-$7,100.00 per month
