Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in accounting software and financial analysis, with the ability to lead a finance team effectively. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in budgeting, account reconciliation, and strategic financial planning to support the company's growth and stability.

Duties

Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain precise financial records.
Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify data integrity across various accounts.
Perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including audit preparation and reporting.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and tax preparations.

Skills

Proven experience in accounting management with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and budgeting processes.
Excellent account reconciliation and account analysis skills to ensure data accuracy.
Ability to interpret financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
Knowledge of industry best practices in financial controls and compliance standards.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong leadership qualities with experience managing finance teams or departments.
Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial insights clearly. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated finance professional to contribute significantly to our company's success through expert financial management and strategic planning.
