Summary

IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk, for one of our Premier Clients. Your primary responsibilities will include managing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Strong communication and analytical skills help to round out the Accounting team for our client. Apply Today!

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all accounts payable functions for the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Review invoices to ensure proper coding and approval.
Accurately and efficiently process invoices in the accounting system for timely payments.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analyses of various AP accounts.
Validate vendor statements and inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure transaction completeness.
Collaborate with the accounts payable team to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve productivity using best practices.
Monitor requisitions for PO and non-PO purchases.
Provide first-line support via phone, email, and fax, offering guidance on purchasing policies and procedures.
Assist finance in processing supplier data changes or additions as requested.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date records.
Assist with administrative duties as required.
Support month-end entries and reconciliations.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
