Boundless Business Consulting (BBC) is the consulting arm of Boundless Accelerator, serving Ontario SMEs ($1M-$20M revenue) with execution-focused business strategy, sales strategy, and marketing consulting. With a proven track record of 1000+ SMEs supported, and $10.3M in funding secured, we're expanding our impact through strategic partnerships and new service offerings. Revenue generated by BBC directly fuel programs and services that accelerate business success for innovators.
The Business Development & Administrative Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting BBC's transformation from project-based consulting to a diversified revenue model including partnerships, subscriptions, and expanded service offerings. This position will directly contribute to our FY2027 growth targets by supporting pipeline development, partnership management, and market expansion initiatives.
This position begins as a 12-month contract, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative & Strategic Support (35%)
- Create templates, frameworks, and tools to support business development initiatives
- Maintain partnership and proposal documentation
- Prepare social media updates and monitor activity analysis
- Coordinate event logistics for information sessions and networking events
- Support all other Director of Growth and Partnerships initiatives as assigned
- Administrative support for other program managers as needed
2. Sales Pipeline & Lead Generation (30%)
- Work with lead generation software (ZOHO CRM) to identify and prioritize opportunities across target sectors
- Conduct prospect research and qualification using BANT criteria
- Track and update contacts, opportunities, and activities in CRM
- Support outbound sales campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and targeted outreach
- Coordinate discovery call bookings and proposal follow-ups
- Monitor chamber RFP boards and industry association opportunities
4. Partnership Development & Management (20%)
- Maintain and update partnership agreements with RICs, accelerators, innovation hubs, and industry associations
- Track partnership referrals and conversion rates in CRM
- Coordinate partnership onboarding and quarterly performance reviews
- Support development of co-marketing materials and partnership communications
- Organize and coordinate joint ecosystem events and roundtables
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting (15%)
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments in target sectors
- Monitor SME pain points related to trade/tariffs, talent shortages, digital transformation, and ESG
- Compile weekly pipeline reports and monthly KPI dashboards
- Support quarterly business reviews with data analysis and insights
- Maintain digital resource library and member communications
- Track member satisfaction metrics and renewal rates
- Support founding member testimonial and case study development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Post-secondary degree/certificate (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong research and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM systems (ZOHO, Salesforce, HubSpot) or willingness to learn quickly
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
- Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, or small business consulting
- Understanding of Ontario's innovation ecosystem (accelerators, RICs, chambers)
- Experience with event coordination or partnership management

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
